I wouldn't go to Australia. The regulations are harder than you think. You have to work in rural/difficult to work in areas for at least 10 years. I went over to Sydney. I lasted only 2 years and i've come back. The health authorities in Australia have clamped down and made it much harder for UK people to come, and visas are much more stringent. There's a lot of hype but it's not worth it, and there's hardly another work. Very saturated in Melbourne and Sydney!
