He had heard about what Aster had done. He didn’t know the girl, but he knew the situation, the argument, that she had yelled at Eden. Eden was a strange wolf, but Haziel had proved himself to him, showed him that even those with disabilities over time had very good instincts and could be more helpful than about anyone else. HIs in particular. Perhaps he didn’t run as fast or as easily, perhaps he had problems hunting for himself at times, but he made up for it with his mental capacity, his ability to track anyone like no other and his other finer points that only Eden knew about. Haziel wondered if it scared Eden, that Haziel had a way of figuring out the truth that he was certain no other could do if they had eyes. Regardless, it was his nose now that led him towards the border, paws finding their way across the lands to a scent he missed most dearly himself.
Asteraia.
It had been his favorite home, the land to which he could run with relative ease, as well as hunt. There were no trees to worry about, roots to stumble on yet he was here still. His place was here as he was bound to Alcmene, though he hadn’t yet seen her for some while again, but he had his sister Nahal too now, and he didn’t want to disrupt her life anymore. So, he stayed here. Though soon he could hear the voice of the female, even off in the distance, getting close enough to make out her words. Eden had announced a while ago the only unwelcome wolf from Asteraia was Aster herself, but Aster had hastily decided to decide all of Glorall should pay for whatever she believed. Haziel knew he couldn’t follow someone like that either, another reason to stay.
The large male though walked forward, stopping a distance away from the pair and waiting for them to notice him. It wouldn’t take long. He was a hulking sized male, black and red, with his blue and golden eyes staring off at nothing, but his ears were constantly moving instead, though one was constantly trained upon the mother, son pair. ”Welcome to Glorall, I am Haziel, the Beta. I heard your conversation at a distance, yet I am curious still.” He moved forward a bit more, closing in on them both, only leaving three or four feet between them now. ”Did Aster send you? She is the only one of your land not welcome to cross the borders, by order of Eden. So if you were sent by her, I would not be welcoming you unless you came with an apology to us.” He says his low tones rumbling through him. He was curious if they even knew why Aster had declared them enemies, but he supposed he would find out soon enough.
