Was cleaning my chicken coop and had my back to the wood until the chickens started to freak out. Turned and a very large, beige, feline shaped animal took off out of the woods and across the property. Long tail and probably 60-80 lb. I lost sight, but assume it crossed the road (Rt 89).
No doubt in my mind it was a mountain lion. I was probably 15-20 ft away when I turned and got a very good look. I only wish I had the reaction time to pull my phone out of my pocket and get a picture! Replies:
