He had heard the vitrolic calls coming from Diveen. The howls of challenge that only put everyone on edge. He moved away from it though, wandered far from Diveen, his family. He was sure they would be okay. By now the challenge was already over, his family hopefully fine and still there at home. It was rough when they all suddenly had to move to Spriane all those years ago. He recalled how hard it was, especially on his mother, because father had also gone missing for that time. It was a terrible time, but Spirane itself had been nice and while he didn’t think it was home, it certainly was good of them to have taken them in during that time.
Of course, the angels had taken it back, and since then it had been struggling to get back to its former glory. Ame saw it for sure, the family had scattered when that had happened and never quite recollected itself to its former self. Of course Achilles did what he could to pick up the pieces, as did Solara. It was hard for them all he was sure, Orion was now recovering what was left of the angels despite only being mates to one, and he was doing well he hoped. At least, he had heard no ill will towards Diveen other than from Iromar, which also seemed to be deep seated into something he couldn’t quite understand. The demon land, his father hated the demons, said the land itself was cursed. Ame stayed away from it, trusting the old healers words yet he was still curious. Then again he never met a wolf of Iromar or one of these demons that seemed to be going extinct with time.
However, his mind had been wandering to other things lately too. Jax never came back after the attack with the cougar. Ame had found it mostly dead from their attacks, and finished it off. One less beast for him to hunt. There were a few more he wanted to find and see the ends off. Perhaps he should ask a pack to help him hunt the last one down in the free lands? He wasn’t sure… He knew he would never be able to do it without Jackson’s help at the very least, if not more, but the only pack he really had relationships with were Diveen, which seemed to have enough problems, then Asteraia, where Halcyon was ruling. Maybe that was it then. He perhaps would make his way there. Though it was all the way across Moladion, perhaps would even take a few days and while he wandered maybe he could figure out where it was.
He sighed, shifting his weight around, and turning his head to look at the lines across the back of his neck and over his shoulders slightly. It had been rough with three wolves, he would need more, and he worried for the other wolves out there. Ones unable to fend for themselves. He sighed again, turning his gaze back towards Spirane, remaining peaceful and unmoving, just for a few minutes longer.
