Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Kajika remained still with the flurry of motion. It happened so fast and was over just a quick, it took the boy a moment to process it all. When Myrria fled, he only watched. He could not even fathom how lucky he was today. Still, he heard the words, but it was the name that Exodus called out that stuck. His adrenaline was still pumping that he had yet to notice the blood down the right side of his head.

The brindle youth stared intently, drawn out only at the sound of his father's voice. That, and the sudden pain when Jinan locked his torn ear. Kajika recoiled reflexively, not expecting the pain at the touch. It could have been much worse, but thankfully his father and this other stranger arrived. His cerulean gaze went to the older male, bobbing his head ever so slightly. "Thank you, Exodus," his young voice echoed. He was still trembling a bit, but not so much as before.

The pup caught himself looking up at his father, clearly saddened by what happened. "Why?" Kajika asked. Protected as he was in Taviora, he could not fathom why what happened today did. That would change as he got older, but to hunt another wolf as prey was beyond the boy's comprehension.
