During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

I CAN FEEL YOUR BAD VIBRATIONS

It had only been a few moments ago that Anastasia’s packmate stumbled upon her, but she could already assume that socialization was something that naturally did not come to him. Which is why her steel gray hues widened in slight surprise whenever the taller male closed the remaining distance between the two of them; Lupin moving to meet Anastasia’s side, his banner brushing against her frame lightly as if in comfort. "I'm sorry to hear about your old pack. I didn’t mean to be intrusive, but I would not tire of hearing about you. I am not from these lands either.” Had it been anyone other than Lupin, perhaps Anastasia would have pulled herself away. But instead, she responded to his touch by pushing her shaped frame against his own slender one. A bold act, really; but at this moment, the speckled girl opted to take the risk. Whether it would make him uncomfortable, angry, or maybe both, Anastasia ran her robes gently and lightly across his own. Her body was stiff at first, the touch of another foreign to her as her hues fearfully shifted to meet his mask in order to gauge his reaction.

Once she was sure that her affection was welcomed, her curved silhouette would immediately relax and loosen. “It’s quite alright,” her vocals came out again very faintly. Had she completely lost it ? This was definitely not like the small vixen. “I did not think that you were being intrusive. It’s just… difficult for me to describe sometimes,” had Lupin not yet reacted negatively to her affection, her gray orbs would reach for his green jewels now. An encouraging smile crept upon her kissers, hoping to put some ease to the brute’s mind.

Although it was something that she probably would never admit, Anastasia’s past continued to haunt her, as it would for a while to come. There only had been the occasional nights that she had not awoken from another night terror, another bad memory. Her past was something that Anastasia had never breathed a word of to another living creature before. And while it was true that she did not have any other companions or even acquaintances in Blossom, she could not say that she would have told a single one of them even if she had. However, there was something about the brown male standing in front of her that urged her to tell him everything.

Anastasia pulled back from the male now so that she could look at him when it was finally his time to share his story. Lupin paused for a moment, his mannerisms replicating Anastasia’s own previous ones, and for a brief moment, the multi-hued femme was filled with the concern that perhaps she had pushed him a little too far. Was the question that she asked too personal? But then his voice broke the stillness between the two of them, and her steel hues watched him attentively as he recounted his own horror for her. "My pack was attacked, and my parents were killed. I somehow lived through it, but knew I couldn’t stay there anymore. And then when I was younger a female named Halina found me and trained me. She lived in Abendrot so I joined here there. Most of the wolves there kept to themselves, and other than Halina and her mate, I didn’t really know anyone else there. There were some other pups that Halina had trained…but I didn’t see them much. "

He looked at Anastasia with the same worried expression as their initial meeting before he continued his story. "I stayed in Abendrot for a while, but Halina’s mate wasn’t happy there. I guess she didn’t like being in a pack, so Halina left with her. When she left, it felt weird to be there, and a lot of the other wolves had left too. So I decided to go off on my own. And I guess the rest was kind of like you. I was in the right place at the right time to hear Milo’s call and decided to come…and here I am.”

As if Anastasia’s previous action had not been enough; the small femme’s plume now curled around Lupin’s earth toned frame. She would press her mask gently into his shoulder, and if he had not yet objected to the embrace, Ana would remain in this position against the dark brute for a moment. “That is terrible… I am so sorry about your pack, as well as your parents…” her voice, again, came out hushed as her bodice leaned into his. And then her small silhouette would push away from his, her short pillars taking a step back and away from the brute, hoping to give the male his space as she suddenly worried that her unanticipated tenderness or either the topic of their conversation would make him uncomfortable. “Please, don’t think wrong of me… I do not care for anyone in my previous home now, as you must imagine. But there was once a time when I could not bear the thought of losing a single one of them, so I cannot imagine what you must feel... I’m sorry that you had to go through that.”

Sincere, steel spheres reached for Lupin's green ones; Anastasia’s gaze careful and calculating as she tried to determine whether she should continue to speak or not. “I’m sorry about Halina, too. But I am glad that you decided to come to Wudubearo,” the petite femme offered the slightest hint of a smile now, hoping to ease some of the discomfort that she assumed that he felt. She had not intended to intrude in on his personal affairs, but the vixen was both surprised and somewhat glad that Lupin had decided to share his previous life with her. She knew it was not an easy task; but the idea that Lupin felt comfortable enough to share the information with her had put relatively put her anxious mind to ease.

"speak."
