Nobody wanted to help her and sometimes, she wondered why she kept bothering too. It disheartened her and had kept her closer to Asteraia despite her interest in continuing her search for her brother; for now, she supposed, she had to feign normalcy. It was just harder to do so than she had expected.
But there were things to do at least - she had heard that others had been hoping to find a place in the pack. They needed the aid of those already here and she knew if she could not help her own family, it'd be best to help somebody else's. Besides, part of her hoped that by helping those around Asteraia, she could find herself extra eyes and ears in order to find Meliodas. It was a long shot but it was something. In any case, the idea had driven her to action and that was a good enough reason to hope.
Eclipse. She knew the name and the vaguest of facts about the woman but nothing more; she had to admit she hadn't been entirely present in Asteraia for some seasons so the woman was a stranger at her core. All she knew was her name,
that she was a new mother and that she was described as looming. That brought a grin to her face as she loped along the cusp of what she had come to know as the Mother's Territory - the place where many of the mothers had made their dens, including Aster. It was the best place to look for a new mother, no? And she was in luck - she had definitely seen somebody looming and dark a short distance away.
She hadn't noticed the chilren in the shadows and so, she had loped towards the woman with a broad grin and a greeting bark before she paused several feet away. "Are you Eclipse? I'm Mirabella!" She forced enthusiasm into her voice despite her mind roaming back to thoughts of her family. "I heard you were taking on a challenge from Aster and Halcyon to receive a rank. Do you...need any help?" It was awkawrd to ask and she readjusted her paws several times with anxiousness before she flashed another sheepish grin. She hadn't done this before. She had always been the one asking for help so offering it? Ah, it was new.
