I have a thousand things to say to you

A'idah & Bahadır
I have a thousand things to say to you.

Blurry, everything around him was just a blur. The bay colt raises his dark nose to touch the soft muzzle of his mother. Her scent was comforting, and sweet, she was perfect. The colt remains curled up in a ball, his spindly legs folded beneath him. The scents were foreign, the only thing that registers is his mother. He nudges her leg, with his outstretched muzzle. He felt the urge to climb onto his hooves, he can feel a strange grumbling in his tummy... What is this?

Aidah admires her colt, his dark mahogany coat was stunning to look upon, plus the speckling along his belly and beneath his chin. She smiles broadly, her Bahadır. Her honey gaze watches him as he bumps his muzzle around, she knew the colt was feeling hunger. He would stand and nurse, and grow stronger with every minute that passes. A single ear swivels as the sound of another approaching draws her attention, she whips her head around to see an unfamiliar face. Her ears bury into her blonde mane and steps over her son to insure that this mare ment no harm. She doesn't drop her guard, even when the mare congratulates and asks for her sons name. "His name is Bahadır, he is the son of Orhan." She lifts her curved head higher on her arched nape.

Bahadır... The colt swivels his ears, at the word. It was the second time that word has been spoken. The bay colt looks up at his mother, and then swivels his head toward the other voice. Who was here? He had to find out, he pushes himself away from his mother. His spindly legs reach out, searching for balance. Determined, the colt pushes his weight from the ground, and stands on wobbly legs.

A'idah hears the shuffling and trains her attention on Bahadır as he stands on wobbly legs. A smile graces her dark lips as she forgets the mare. She fondly brushes her lips against his soft coat, as the colt triumphantly stands. She sighs, and returns her attention to the mare as her face softens. "I am A'idah. I live here... Who are you?" She asks. She does not recall the face or name of this mare.
