Danny and Sol both found Cal's new laugh a bit... eerie. Neither of them could recall a time they'd ever heard Lorraine laugh; maybe laugh at someone, but never as an expression of mirth, if they'd heard it at all. At least the undertone screamed Cal to anyone who knew her. Hopefully her time would go by quickly, and the Cal they knew and loved would be back to normal sooner rather than later. Danny and Sol traded grins when Cal called out for Buddy and the aja appeared, cautiously poking his head out from between two pine trees. They looked a bit more mischevious than normal when Buddy muttered to them.
"Yeah, we've seen Cal," Danny said agreeably, nodding.
"She's with us now," Sol said, wiggling his brows at Buddy.
"Right here," Danny continued, pointing at Lorraine's body and grinning devilishly.
Finally they both gave in, giggling and nudging each other.
"Okay, okay, we'll explain: Cal's stuck in Lorraine's body for the next few weeks, because of something called Omniety," Danny said at last. "It's... well I can't say it's normal, but it happens."
