Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

A joyful bark of laughter slips from his maw as his feet skid along the fallen leaves. The poofy tail of the squirrel bobs just out of reach, teeth snapping at a few fine hairs and yanking, hoping that just the right tug would slow it enough to be pounced on.

Powerful legs pushed him to go faster, faster, fas- his feet completely slide out from underneath him, a yelp that sounded much like a kicked puppy- that totally didn't happen what are you talking about- wheezing from deep in his chest, quickly turning into a growl as he watched a squirrel that looked far too smug bound up a tree.

Hell will freeze over before he gets beat by a squirrel. Flailing his legs until he was upright, he subconsciously shoved his tong against his exposed teeth, pink filling in the gaps. Ears back, he paced around the tree before a throaty growl rumbled from his chest, rearing up until his front legs were holding him up on its truck. A few useless hops later brought him to realize that no, you can't bounce into the tree.

A few steps back until his rump hit another tree, puffing out his chest, lowering his front until his chest touched the ground and- taking off at a dead sprint, he bound straight up the tree, fumbled, and bodily knocked the squirrel off its branch. Landing on his side and flailing a bit, he snagged the squirrel with his right paw enough to momentarily confuse it. Snapping jaws around it and swiftly killing it, he let a few triumphant huffs and rolled to his feet.

Sticking his head up and ears higher, he trotted around for a few elated moments of satisfaction before sagging, feeling his muscles beginning to cramp already. Hanging his head and snuffling a bit -and only smelling the squirrel just under his nose- he plopped on the ground, sending a flurry of leaves in his wake. He dropped the squirrel onto his paws and sighed, licking his chops before inhaling deeply- wait.

A light scent was wafted towards his twitching nose, keen eyes going sharp and ears straining. Swiveling his neck to better smell towards the wind, he stood- as quiet as his bulky body could manage- and tensed, waiting for a few moments before picking up his squirrel and slowly walking at an angle, trying to get a better view through the trees, testing to see if anybody would move as well.
