Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

but this is getting

The twinges of pain were still coming, albeit it was slowing down and not near as painful as the contractions had been before the little sooty black girl had made her appearance, and thus, it was easier to deal with the pain now than it was before. I laughed, a soft sweet chuckle as I spied the look upon Jaxon's face, utter surprise, at the sight of the new babe at their feet, but he seemed a bit, unsettled at the same time, about what, I couldn't tell you.

My strength began to wane a little, and I let myself lean my head against his strong shoulder, my breathing evening out as I listened to the calming rumble of his voice. No matter how irked or upset I was, it always seemed to calm me. "I'll be fine, eventually. That was an shock to the system, I think." I muttered, lifting my head slightly from my place at his neck. I just sighed, leaning into him as I stared down at the babe at our feet.

She was the perfect mixture of us, his dark and sotty and my white splashes on her body. It warmed my heart in a deep way, a cord that was firmly entwining him in my life. Not that I'd have it any other way, it just made things feel even more real. I didn't want to think of the politics here, if they'd cause this little family to break apart, that was something I'd refuse to think about, and I didn't want to start now. "I was thinking....Stelara." the quiet words slipped free when he asked her name. I lifted my head then, peering at him with sleepy eyes.

I watched, heart in my throat as he reached towards our baby girl. She gave a little squeak, tossing herself forward as he brought his face towards her. Her small nose bumped him, and then she went further, her momentum tumbling her into the ground under his head. She gave a frustrated huff, looking up at both of us like we were supposed to do something about it. "Come on sweet girl, you've got to figure it out if you want lovin" I found myself cooing. I grinned at her, then at Jaxon. A chuckle bubbling up from my chest watching her squirm around on the ground trying to figure the whole standing thing out.
