Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Arturio held stock in a lot of things. Fate was among them, if only because of some of what he had seen growing up. Their pace being easy as it was, he was seeing a bit more of the pack than he had previously. Granted, the white male was trying to avoid trouble so as not to invade Nari's space nor bring the ire of anyone who might deem him an intruder. He was brought from his 'sight-seeing' with Elohim's question.

"I think you already know that answer," he said. His tone clearly indicated an affirmative to what was clearly rhetorical. Arturio could have said nothing, but he also wanted to piece together this almost mystery that was his current venture. He listened to the answer only to nod his understanding. He would not press that further, as he didn't feel like it was his business to do so. It is what came after that had his attention more. "But trusted more than an inkling, it seems," he said aloud, as much to himself as to the dark coated wolf with him.

He could only shrug. He could be curious all he wanted, but it was not his place to press on something that had nto only happened before he met Nari, but likely even before he came to Moladin. As they reached the crest of another dune, his emerald gaze looked over the water. "I appreciate your honesty, Elohim," he finally said, still watching the rolling water before casting a glance behind him. Had the other's words made him slightly paranoid? No, he just knew Glorall was not his old pack and he would simply need to be more mindful. Arturio felt no need to be suspicious yet, not of Elohim at least. His words seemed genuine, and when he continued, that is when his curiosity piqued.

There was no doubt in his mind his presence had been noted, he truly wondered why it was Elohim who approached him first of anyone in the pack. Arturio turned his eyes to him once more. an ally in him? The snowy brute was always there for those who needed him, alliances were certainly not off the table if he was sure it wouldn't be one sided. "It never hurts to have good allies," he said a reaffirming smile. He looked back to the ocean again. "If I end up truly part of Glorall, what would you suggest I do? Sitting by being just another member of a pack isn't in my nature," Arturio decided to inquire. He did not figure, at least not now, that he would be forcibly turned away, and he felt it was quite likely that Elohim as much as Nari would have something to do with it when the time came. He would not know for sure, but it is what he hoped.
