The girl appears now into the sunlight that permeates the entrance and his eyes slide across her with his fanged half-smile that hides many secrets. Who was this sly, coy girl? That she did not cower is impressive despite his internal need to dominate. The way she approaches him with such a posture makes his tail stiffen, his eyes harden, and that fang to appear ever more as a low, thunderous growl reverberates through him. It is not to warn her off, but to demand she submit, to warn her that he would not tolerate one trying to usurp his strength. But it is also exciting in much the same way it was when Zharko took it into his head to challenge him.
Suddenly his growl ceases, replaced by a smooth laugh at her words, his eyes flashing at her boldness. "I am not alone now, am I?" A low taunt is given, the flash of his tongue across his silver lips. There is something there.. some need in her eyes. What secrets does this feral lady hide? She reminds him of Eve, a temptress with tastes akin to his own, and it is why he does not strike immediately. He wants fighters. Survivors and killers. That is not to say EVIL... but then, evil does not think itself evil, now does it?
His wicked smile to her becomes thin with veiled threat. "Which am I?" Stupid or brave? He was not stupid, that was for sure, but bravery seemed a rather dumb thing to aspire to. Yet the last makes his tail twitch and that grin to appear, all teeth. "Ah, a monster I think," and then he strikes, teeth snapping out towards her muzzle with the intent to draw blood. All he wishes is a little taste - one snap is given and he will withdraw his head, assuming she does not rush him for more, in which case he plans to fight back.
He did warn her - submit. And when Thorne gives a warning, he expects it to be heeded.
