Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Her dark grey head turns first to see Enoch with his rather defensive position with a lowered head, which did not last long. Her pale rainbow eyes lingered on him as her dark fur dripped and the ocean waved against her paws. The male then comments that there is nothing bigger than this water, and Umbra can only give a smirk in immediate reply followed by a scoff.

”Psh, can you be so sure? Have you seen the entire universe?” she replies sarcastically. Her attention then directs to the younger boy, whom she somewhat surprised with her entrance, but does not remain TOO timid. Was she ever as timid as this boy or the other? She never thought so. She always remembers being forward. The little one grinned back at her grin, and her eyes softed just a bit. The little one did not seem to quite understand what she meant.

”Yes- full force. Don’t hold back on your attack...that is how your prey escapes,” she said as she swirled around, pouncing with sleek paws and landing in front of the small pup. Her teeth were exposed from her lips, but it was nothing aggressive towards the pup...although he certainly could interpret it that way. ”That is how you go hungry when you are older,” she says lifting her head away from the boy with a cocky tilt.

”Of course you don’t want to go home. Going big isn’t your size- it is your actions,” she said as the boy her age started to play bow and swat at the water. The water won’t really put up much of a fight or be too fun after a while. She turns her head and eyes back to Enoch as the two start to play. She lowers herself in a striking position- although one that is clearly playful with the way her tail begins to wag behind her, although her face is naturally a bit sharp.

”Rawwrr!” she calls out as she leaps at Enoch, seeking to tackle him into the sand. ”We can both get HIM! aha” she says playfully as she attempts to tackle Enoch, and if she is successful, she will dig her nose into his neck- not with a bite, but simply in an attempt to tickle him with the movement of her nose.
