At one point in time, Misty Mountain stood opposite of Rainbow Cliff, and these rose to the sky as the only peaks in Blossom Forest. Since the magical change of the land, an entire chain of peaks rose from the bowels of the earth to become the Culter Unlaeddod - the Teeth of the Gods. Misty Mountain is still of the peaks, but many others exist as well. They run from north to south, from east to west. Atop some of the peaks, snow covers them year round, making the paths slippery and hazardous. Others are lower in altitude and are extremely humid, covered in thick, dense forests with mists swirling between each of the trunks. Others still are bare - naked boulders rising and falling haphazardly.

These chains of peaks do connect many of the packs, and they hold many things to explore - forbidden forests, deep and mysterious caves, beautiful scenic cliffs. However, one must have care - if you fall, it is a long, long, long way down...

Due to the varying terrains, many prey options are available. For those scared of injury, you may find ptarmigans, ravens, crows, squirrels, dormice, or rabbits. The adults hunting alone can find mountain goats... but for those hunting in a pack, there are elk, moose, and Bighorn Sheep.

Fear Makes People Do Terrible Things

_________________________________________________________________________

Embarrassment swept through the male when he realized that he didn’t only just fall through a dead tree trunk, but had almost fallen on top of another. He felt rude too for interrupting the stranger, glad that she did not react in hostility towards him even though he would not have blamed her if she had done so. The male began trying to get the sticks and debris out of his pelt, not realizing that he had missed half of them when he apologized to the femme. Tufts of fur stuck up at weird angles from his fall, brambles still clinging to him. The female didn’t seem upset though, but she actually approached, sitting a few feet away. Lupin wasn’t sure if it would be best for him to just leave and act like this never happened, or if he should stick around. In the end he decided that it couldn’t hurt to stay. He still did not have many friends in Blossom, and he knew he needed to try and be friendlier if he were to really make the forest feel like home. It didn’t matter that she wasn’t within his own pack, they could still become friends.

The brute padded closer to her since she didn’t seem opposed to his presence, and asked if she had a pack here. He caught no pack scent on her, but maybe she had been away from home. Or maybe it was because of all the changes that had happened recently. Her attention seemed to wander for a moment as her plume dragged through the dirt briefly before her attention snapped back to him. "I do not belong to any pack at this moment, no. I had a pack once, it was very far from this place though, are there many packs here? What is your rank........ erm... sir." At the term sir, Lupin felt embarrassed, and also felt like an idiot for not introducing himself. He felt even more awkward when she introduced herself, but it gave him the chance to do the same. "My name is Galifrey, it's a pleasure to meet you." The scarred male’s gaze turned to focus on her, their eyes meeting as he finally spoke up again. ”Um…sorry…I’ve never been called sir before. My name is Lupin. I’m new to the pack, so am only an omega. It’s nice to meet you Galifrey.” He still didn’t know much about her, but she had a pretty name at least. He hoped that she wouldn’t think less of him since he didn’t have any sort of impressive rank to show off, and he awkwardly shuffled from paw to paw as he was unsure of what to do with himself.

Lupin finally sat down, decided that would be better than him feeling the need to shuffle his paws around. He let his brown plume fall to the dirt, limply laying at his side. ”What is it like living outside a pack” He hoped the question wasn’t too personal, but it had been so long since he had been wandering on his own as a pup that he could barely remember. Did she like the life of a wanderer? Or did she wish that she had a pack? He felt like that would be too personal, so decided not to go that far. Green orbs studied her, gauging her reaction to his question, hoping that it did not ruin any potential friendship he could have with the femme. Lupin had not always felt so uncomfortable around others. When he had been in his original home, he had had no trouble making friends with the foursome that had become inseparable until the harsh reality of life and war tore them apart. Was it because of the loss of them that made him anxious now? The brute had never thought on it much, and he didn’t want to dwell on the past while he was with the femme.
