I could feel his eyes bore into my back, my uncle, the ever present guardian angel. I didn't want to be watched, but when it came down to it, I would rather listen than deal with the look in his eyes if I disobeyed him. With uncle having those fire-like eyes, his gaze when mad was almost incendiary. Scary, really. But then again, I knew he meant well, but danngit! I wanted to get out from under the eagle eyes of Berwyn, so so so bad.

I wasn't paying much attention to anything, honestly, and playing in the flowers were a bit distracting. The dragonflies and butterflies that flew around my head were far too interesting for me to pay much attention to my surroundings. I wasn't interested in any of the ongoings from the adults in the land, but when I heard the scuffle of paws, I jumped up, my own small legs darting up and trying to move myself from my position, but I knew I was too late, so I dropped all my weight back down.

The other pup went rolling over my small body, and I jumped up almost immediately after she'd stopped rolling. I twirled, my little legs taking me over to where she had finally stopped moving at. She spoke then, about it being fun! I couldn't help but laugh, man, this girl was out of her mind! "Are you okay?! I tried to get out of the way but I figured it'd hurt more for me to stand, but you barely brushed over me when I went flat. I can call for my uncle if your hurt!" Cue, the rambling. I realized what I was doing and promptly shut my mouth, plopping my rear end into the grass and giving her a strange, curious look. I hoped she was alright, because hurting someone was not a good way to make friends, no way.
