At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

They'll Throw You To The Wolves

Her whole life seemed to flip flop from amazing to upsetting as she watched her sister fall from that cliff and plummet to the raging sea below. Tears weld up in her arctic orbs that matched her sisters as she ran to where her sister had just been moments ago, almost sliding off of the slippery rocks herself. "Alaska!!" She called down to her sister, but the only answer she got back was the sound of the waves crashing against the cliff. She felt her icy white fur get pushed to the side as the seas misty breeze sprayed her. She backed away from the bluff, and ran as fast as her heart could take her.

She needed to be at peace with the death of her sister. Perhaps fleeing from her home was a bit extreme but her sister was all she really had left, since her parents both died. One in a war, the other while giving birth to the two of them. She felt as if to replace the empty feeling in her heart somehow. Be it with love, she had assumed. She was both a lover and a fighter, priding herself as a noble and loyal woman. Though for the moment, she just wanted someone to hold her and tell her everything would be okay. She wanted to curl up next to someone and have them comfort her.

She began to weep as she realized how truly alone she was now without her sister. She realized she had stumbled onto unknown lands only as she had just reached the very end of the land itself, collapsing onto a rock surrounded by shallow water of the ocean. She wept and wept, her snowy form only embracing the cool beach weather that came with the autumn. She was after all from the tundra. "I wish it was me instead . . . You didn't deserve that, Alaska . . . I'm sorry . . ." She sniffled before covering her muzzle with her paws. "I'm so sorr, Alaska . . . " She whispered, crying her eyes out to the sea.
