Persephone had become somewhat lazy over the summer. Leaving the Forest had not seemed very inviting under the heat of the glaring sun, particularly when she intended to make a trip to Salem as her next adventure, and both Evaline and her common sense had warned her that it would be foolish to go at the hottest time of the year. Summer was waning at last, however, and Persephone was shaking herself back to life. Things had grown quiet once again in the Forest, and she had been out of contact with her neighbours and allies for too long. Determination put a spring in her step, and she set out on her path through the Forest, twigs crunching beneath her hooves as she walked. She would make her visit to Shamwari today. Evaline and her family had had some time with Shamwari now, and Persephone presumed she must have made her way back by now, and so it seemed as good a time as any to finally go and talk things over with her neighbour. It would be a good opportunity to get to know him a little better, as well as to both provide and receive an update of her knowledge surrounding the islands. |
