I could tell I caught him a bit unaware, but I doubt he expected anyone to follow him here today. It wasn’t as if I wanted to disturb his peacemaking with my brother, it was more that the information I had found out and gathered when I tried and failed to steal Cuirass was pretty pressing… He had told me something I didn’t know, something I felt was important and something I wasn’t entirely sure what it meant just yet. Sure…. He could have been lying, or Arace could have been lying… but what if they weren’t? Those thoughts were on my mind, and what was more, it didn’t seem like Kattari was talking about my niece and nephew she left behind. Still I feel a bit ashamed that I jumped to the worst conclusion rather than the best one. I think part of me was just… over rational sometimes, the dead didn’t come back, the only time we would see eachother again would be when we were all back in the heavens together once more.

”Oh… right.”

I let the silence fall, the sadness in both our tones mirroring one another in this moment yet I don’t want to linger on it for too long. Though I wasn’t saying he should be ashamed, I knew it brought peace to some, but I knew wherever I was Jaeger was watching me. ”No, there is no shame in coming here. I am sure he’s always watching over us, and listening when we talk to him as well.” I assure my father then before admitting. ”I talk to him too sometimes.” It was all I could manage to say before letting the conversation drift forward. My ears twitch slightly, looking to the sky for a moment before allowing my rainbow gaze to set back onto my father.

I have to admit I was a little surprised by mother’s lack of excitement at his tattered ear. Then again, I knew grandfather sported a similar look, something I didn’t recall before father said something that was very much something mother would say. I give a laugh at that, ”Sounds like her.” I remind myself then that she might have just been happy to have him back alive and mostly safe and sound. An ear was nothing in the grand scheme of things too. Though he was right again, she was far more fussy about Never than father. ”I see, well Never is her baby, I guess she expects you to be able to deal with it.” I didn’t have any real showy scars yet. I haven’t really been in any fights that got me harmed. The one I almost got into when with Hyrule had been interrupted by others, but I was sure someday someone would try to mar my perfect form too. Not anytime soon if I could help it.

It seemed though Father had known all along i was here for something else. I was happy father seemed to regain himself. I know he took the loss hard, but time seemed to be patching him up, something that maybe was apparent now more than it had been when we had last spoke to one another. I didn’t disagree with his crusade still, but I did worry that he might have been rash in simply allowing Iromar to declare enemies of us and not ask why. Well the why had come into the open. I didn’t know father already had bits from Zelda, but I nod slowly when he said I doubted i had come just for that and do not hesitate to launch into my findings. While my original plan had just been to hunt Kattari down, I had found out so much more.

”I wanted to find that woman… I stalked her scent and found that it ended and was taken away by another. Of Iromar. I followed that scent and tried, and well.. I won’t say I failed but will say I was discovered while trying to take him away by himself. THe wolf in question was named Cuirass… he ended up being the brother of… her… and we began talking a bit.” I was sure how happy father would be with such a thing, but regardless I was on my own hunt for justice… I was going to kill her… someday… somehow. ”He told me Arace was scent by someone from Diveen, in short. If he was telling the truth I don’t know… but I find it worth investigating here… He also didn’t know about Paschar and Pascal. So she’s keeping them a secret too… for whatever reason. I think it’s a good thing, means no one will come looking for them.” I tried to keep an eye on them, but lately I have been… slacking, I didn't’ even know that the boy had left… not yet at least. I give father a second though to take in the information I had found, little as it was, I found it helpful. ”Obviously if this is the case then… we need to find out who and why they did it. I heard the wolfess killed was a mother, an innocent. That was what Cuirass told me.” Of course I didn’t mention that Cuirass was part of my own hit list for someday, helpful as he was, he was a monster in his own right. But Father didn’t need to know that just yet.
