He asked if she listened to the world around her and she simply nodded. He seemed less surprised about the concept and more surprised about the fact she mentioned it. This was the life that she was taught, and she never had an issue talking about it even if everyone thought she was crazy. Yojimbo gave her that calm confidence about it. If others wanted to miss out, then so be it. They get to miss out.
He seemed even more surprised when she mentioned Yojimbo, and this made her sleek grin grow on her blacked maw. Part of her was perhaps...disappointed that he did not know of her, but that was not too surprising. There were many reasons. Perhaps he was told when he was young, or perhaps not at all. Vega may have been told and she did not bother to tell anyone else. Regardless she shrugged- it is what it is.
”There is also my sister Najira, but I have not seen her in years at this point...I think she may still be out there,” she said, her blue eyes diverting, missing that of her sister. They were so close in their youth. So close that they almost finished each other’s sentences. Then one day she was gone- vanished, just how the rest of her family had done.
She listened and brought her eyes back as he speaks of Yojimbo being in Diveen and that Emil and a Zarah took care of him there. She was glad to see that he was alive and her tail thumped slightly behind her. She wondered about Zarah though...was that the pup she met years ago? ”That is good to hear. Is Zarah a red and white girl with blue eyes? I had visited Diveen many years ago by myself and ran into a pup of Vega’s...although, I am not sure I belong in Diveen,” she says tilting her jaw as she looked upon the golden form of the male. ”Are Demons welcome in the land of Angels?” she asked with her smooth vocals, the sound of the water bouncing on the ground around them. She would like to see Yojimbo...but meeting anyone else, that was not something she was totally comfortable with. She may be blood, but why would they care of a wolf so long forgotten?
”Looking for information, hm?” she said as she stretched her black paws out in front of her. ”I am not exactly the one to talk to. I just know that a woman killed one of ours, and Pine took matters into her own paws, and apparently Diveen had some sort of connection to it. She did what she had to do to protect the pack. Maybe you can tell me why someone in Diveen was wanting one of our dead, hm?” she asked, although she didn’t really care as much as her voice might have been leading on, and she certainly was not accusing him or Diveen of anything...more of deciphering what may be going on herself. ”These are all questions that may lead to better answers,” she adds, knowing she does not have all the pieces to this puzzle herself.
