Jaci has always been like this, since the day she was born. Vibrant, exuding joy and happiness, a friend to all she meets, whether equine, or a simple field mouse, she showed as much kindness as she possibly could. She smiles without really thinking, though they weren't empty smiles that cascaded across her pale lips, they were from the pure and utter joy of being alive, apart of the world that has given her so much.
The mare smiles, then snorts, and Jaci tilts that pretty, pale and dished head of hers, baby blues admiring the girl, wondering, perhaps, what was happening inside her mind. What images were being conjured up, what thoughts raced a mile a minute through brain waves.
The snow angel doesn't mind the gentle silence that elapses the two. For it is not the type of silence that deadly, the calm before the storm. But the silence is contentment, like the quiet of a winter night, when the snowflakes fall from the heavens and snuggle with one another on the valley below the cloud filled skies.
She laughs, and it sounds like tinkling bells, of course, as the lovely Bruja reveals her suspicions of it being a trick, a joking tone weaves through her vocals, making Jaci close her eyes once of twice in admiration of having found a humorous soul on this afternoon. “I would never,” she says, reaching out that little pink muzzle of hers to gently nudge Bruja’s shoulder. “I will even do it with you!” Jaci speaks excitedly. As one more spout of laughter erupts from her throat, bubbling on her lips, Jaci kneels down to the ground and eagerly begins to roll, making a ‘horse angel’ if you will. Baby blues than cast upwards, silently asking her…friend (at least Jaci hoped in her heart of hearts they would be friends) to join her.
