The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

I Am Your Butterfly

The delicate and snowy kalak Princess lost herself in his crimson fur, her sobs were barley even that for as soon as she had shown any sign of weakness it was instead instantly filled with fire. She was angry, she was becoming something . . . That wasn't her. She was feeling even more powerful. Kronos was now by her side once more, and she felt safer than ever again. “My Princess, I am so incredibly sorry that I did not find you sooner… This could have all been avoided, if it weren’t for me,” She gave him a soft chuckle, her pitch black orbs looking into his briefly after she pulled away from his body. "Do not fear, my traumas of this new world will surly heal with time. All that matters is you are here to rescue us now, do not fear." Her high pitched voice spoke softly this time as she began to cool down.

“I’ve looked all over for the two of you. I probably would have never been able to get to you if it wasn’t for her.” Liliths gaze brought her to the red woman again. A non kalak, and yet she was willing to bring a stranger into her home without the will of her so called King. She began to question the loyalty of Sikus wolves, so far she was showing loyalty to them as outsiders more than him himself. She dipped her head. "Thank you kindly." She gave her a smile. Maybe not every non kalak was the same . . .

Once the snowy kalak Princess leaned into her guard to whisper into his ear about taking the pack, did she find her feathers being ruffled again by anger. He too was all for taking down this monster, if she so commanded - And she most definitely wanted to. She looked up to Kronos once more, "It's hard to put a leash on a dog once you put a crown on him . . . But you warriors know how to break mutts." She smirked, before in turn looking for Olya as he asked about her. “Where is Olya? He has not harmed either of you, has he?”

Lilith shook her head, and gave a simple "No," as her reply before she found herself looking at Olya. Sikus words about her seemed to strike her, now that she really looked, Olya did look troubled . . . How had she not seen it before? And now she was bleeding? Liliths orbs widened and she quickly moved to her beloved friend, her maw opened to speak but Olya had begun to speak already to Kronos. “Kronos? Where did you… Come from? How did you know where we were? Are you the relief that the Council has sent? To bring princess Lilith home to her people?” Lilith began to lick at Olyas wound, growing even more concerned about her friend.

“I apologize, I forget myself.”

Lilith's tongue stopped and she looked to Olya, her pitch black orbs looking for answers in Olyas own blue pools. "Olya . . ." Lilith whispered to her, so quietly again that no one else was close enough to hear. "I'm sorry . . . I've been selfish lately and I haven't been looking at what I'm dragging you into. I hope you can forgive me . . ." Lilith dipped her head, before raising it again. A fire was growing in her, being fed rapidly as it burned brightly. "Olya, I do not want you to be afraid of this new world. It is both exciting and scarry, I want you to be happy and do whatever makes you happy. Everyone deserves happiness," Lilith trailed off, and looked to her tiny black paws. "And if you're not happy by my side, then I ask you as your friend, and as your Princess, what your wish is. Do you wish to stay loyal to me and be chained forever as my handmaiden, or do you wish for me to set you free to do and be as you please, of course without the consequences of leaving my side?" Lilith looked to her handmaiden again, a smile mustering, though she knew being a handmaiden was obviously a toll on her. "I am willing to grant you whatever you wish, but if you do decide to chose the unlikely and stick beside me, I vow to never let your deeds go unoticed again by any wolf, I vow to never let any wolf talk down on you or lay a claw on a hair on you, or hurt you." In truth, the Princess did not want a slave. She wanted a friend.
