Personality: You would be hard pressed to find a more genuinely sweet individual. Despite her less than ideal upbringing, Magpie is the sort of wolf that constantly thinks of others before herself. She is unfailingly polite, soft-spoken and compassionate. Sometimes this propensity for kindness will get her in trouble or allow others to take advantage of her, but still she persists. Magpie is unshakably loyal to those who have earned her trust and affection, and even to those whom she feels obligated towards. Magpie is very family oriented, despite her family being rather awful, and will likely always feel as though she owes them her loyalty despite their poor treatment of her. This is only compounded by the fact that Magpie feels compelled to take care of those around her, particularly those who are close to her, often to the point of neglecting herself. Despite her tendency to be a bit naive in regards to many things, she is not entirely unaware that others can be cruel or unkind or that their motives might not be as genuine as her own, however, she doesn’t let this deter her or turn her cynical. She sees the world for what it could be, for better or worse.

Appearance

Eyes: Magpie’s eyes are a mottled mess of pale blue, pink, purple, yellow and green. Similar to an opal. From a distance they look to be an indistinct silvery-grey in color.

Fur: Soft and plush to the touch, her fur is thicker and longer around her neck and shoulders then becomes shorter along her body. Her tail is also thick and full and quite plush. Overall her coat, when health, gives her a soft, plush appearance that is only enhanced by her coloring.

Color: A plush, pale take undercoat covers the vast majority of Magpie’s body, tempered with a brighter golden color that gives her coat that soft, warm glow. A light rust color highlights the graceful slope of her brow and continues along her spine, melting down around her shoulders and blending with her tail giving an overall sunkissed look to her figure. Her underside is accented with a cream color that runs from her chin, along her chest and belly and down the backs of her legs where it fades to a soft white on her toes. Her paw pads are primarily black but have splotches and freckles of pink. Her nose, likewise, has a small pink splotch on the left side.

Build: While most wolves grow out of their large ears and long legs, Magpie never will. Her legs are long and slender and her ears are tall and prone to flipping inside out with certain activities. Overall her features are delicate, from her narrow muzzle and gently sloped brow, to her slender body. Her chest is narrow and her waist small. To some she might look undernourished but she inherited her lean, graceful figure from her mother. Much of her height, a trait inherited from her father, is comprised of her long legs. Overall she’s built for endurance and speed rather than strength or agility. A bit of elegant beauty countered with the adorable awkwardness of her oversized ears.
