Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

It seemed that Crith-Thalmhainn had been stumbled upon by another visitor. A beautifully brindled varg by the title of Mai, who claimed to the young miss that she was sent to their borderlands by the request of her Alpha, Aindreas. She inquired about Crith’s changes, and this caused something to finally occur to the black and white femme. For a moment, Nike was silent… Had this all been a result of some strange, and foreign power? Magic? It couldn’t be… There was no way. And then, Mai opened up an entirely new idea to the young wolfess. Maybe... Nimueh’s pack had not been the only one to suffer through the change. From what the monochrome femme could make out in the small bits and pieces that Mai provided her with, this magic had cursed the entire world.

It was only natural for Nike to be curious. She was still fairly young; even though she doubted it, she was intrigued by the vast idea that magic had taken hold of Blossom. So when she was certain that the borderlands were clear and the territory was secure, she emerged from the land, and set off on her journey.

What Nike stumbled upon a few days later was a landscape remarkably different from that of Crith-Thalmhainn. The inexperienced femme had committed to Nimueh when she was in her early teens, and never found the interest in exploring the world outside of her pack. But she would have never imagined such differences. Her emerald spheres frantically shifted, desperate to take in all of it’s details. The frozen ground nipped coldly at the pads of her paws, numbing the surface ever so faintly as she navigated through the lively pines alongside her. Everything seemed fine.

But this feeling was wrong.

A thunderous BOOM was sent spiraling into the chilled air, and the delicate girl found herself stopping dead in her tracks. Everything grew quiet, much too still, as the only sound that inhabited her obsidian cranium was the threatening ringing that remained from the previous explosion. Jewels of emerald scanned the area in search of the noise’s source, Nike’s auds upright and alert despite her desire to want to fold into herself. And then a rainbow of light shot towards the sky, appearing as a flash that caused the girl to force her eyelids shut. The force of it sent her small framing to the frosted earth, bent bare branches back against its winds. A foreign sensation coursed through her now, a tingling feel that quickly replaced the numb of the frost. Was this part of the rumored magic that she'd overheard about? She forced her hues open to squint pitifully at the geyser of light, and then the darkness began to weigh in on her, and Nike lost consciousness. Her monochrome silhouette laid against the cold earth, small flurries of white collecting on her blackened skull.
