She had known that he would come - they always did, wanting to keep their fertility in check and reassure themselves. The call was not a surprise by any means. His timing couldn’t have been any worse either. The silver brindled mother of three had been in recovery for nearly the whole goddamn season and was just now feeling well enough to make her way around the territory. That didn’t mean that she cared to go all the way to the border to meet her stalker ex-lover. So she tended to her children (barely so with Saros), cleaned them up, fed them, and sent them on their way. She then fed herself and gnawed on the marrow after cleaning off the flesh before even considering heading out of her way for him.
But she did, eventually, end up waltzing toward him in a casual prowl among the tall, golden grasses that swept at her sides. If she were a feline then she would be a lioness and everyone knows that the lionesses are the real kings. Her blue and gray eyes looked him over as she remembered their rendezvous in the forest. It was far more heated than that with Orb but the poor boy had issues to work out before he could handle a woman like herself. But this guy… he knew what to do when it came to pushing the right buttons. Unfortunately for him, it was a one and done kind of deal - time to break it to him.
”You rang?” the words slide from her tongue in a way that overflows with sarcasm and a razor blade attitude. She may be at the cusp of her recovery but no illness could douse her fire.
