Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Do not go gentle into that good night: caesura

Their meeting had stuck in his head. She was coy and filled with tricks that he could put to use, if done so in the right way, and one such as her would be a valuable asset. Such is how he thinks in terms of life - what is useful and what is not. One can be trained to usefulness but a stone mind cannot be budged and should be eliminated. Caesura could be convinced, he thinks, and their parting had been mutually satisfying in an intellectual manner. He was sly and filled with a volatile energy today, filled with thoughts and aspirations of things to come. Achievements to be won or made, shaped by his very paw.

It is what drives him as he stalks across the woodland while the sky lights up brilliant above him. It is reminiscent of his first meeting with Azariah, the electricity that sparks across his obsidian figure, and he casts a cool gaze up between the boughs of the fall trees. It is the perfect time for a wildfire if one of those bolts caught the dying bark and leaves. It would be a thing to see, flames racing across the homes of squirrels and liners alike, fear a buzzing pattern across the dirt paths.

But first he had to find Caesura. He had followed her scent trail for a while and was backtracking when he caught a fresh strand. Whatever she was doing, she was keeping busy, and after another hour of searching he finally catches sight of her. “Caesura,” he says on a bark, a demand for her to halt for a moment while he speeds up to intercept her, that one-fanged grin given once more. “Hello, witchling.” The Word suits her, her very essence magnetizing to him. “You’ve been busy today.”
