Golden days for locuming have gone since HMRC introduced IR35 rules in April. Now you'd be treated like "useless moron", as you say, and f* up with a ridiculous job plan for peanut money. Not worth it! Locums, who have been long in business are turning now into better alternatives, which I'm sure would not be substantive NHS jobs. No one can live on a consultant's 70K+ salary nowadays !
