At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

Castiel insisted over and over again that it really would be no bother for him to stay with Tiresias. The kalak wanted to believe him, but he knew better - anyone who ever got close to him always ended up getting injured in someway. His mother had died. His foster mother had to run off. Even Castiel himself, after their previous meeting, had had his dark heart ripped out. That was why Tiresias had been loathing to ask for the favor, for the request. But Castiel had agreed graciously and wholeheartedly, and Tiresias could only hope that he would not come to regret asking for the favor. As the conversation continued on, Castiel discussed his fishing skills - it was something that Tiresias was not particularly good at. He could hunt small prey on his own well enough, by listening to their scuffling and scattering around as they try to get away from him, but fish really made no sound, especially over the sound of the crashing waves. They were impossible for him to hunt, really, and no one had ever brought such a meal to him.

"I must say, I am intrigued by the thought of tasting fish. I cannot remember ever having it myself, and always are their slithering bodies escaping my grasp. In truth, I had largely given up on ever catching one, after so many failures. If you do the fishing, I will season them with herbs, and though I am sure that you are more than capable of catching the smaller prey yourself, I will bring what I can. I promise that this will not be a one way relationship between the two of us. I mean… Not relationship… What I meant to say was that you and I living within the same den will not mean that I am relying upon you for everything, I promise."

Tiresias felt so embarrassed that he had used such a erroneous word, but felt that he had explained himself relatively well, if not somewhat awkwardly. The kalak coughed and looked away, or rather shifted his nape so that his gaze would seemingly glance out across the ocean. He was rather glad when Castiel switched the conversation to instead talk about the garden that Tiresias had mentioned.

"Oh yes, I can show you how to make a garden. In truth… I do not know where any of these plants look like. Obviously. And so the only ones I use are the ones with a distinctive smell - like lavender, chamomile, ginger, garlic… Things like those. Although I must say that I can find moss easily enough, all I’ll have to do is fall over a rock and then stand up and go back to the offending boulder, and rub my nose over the top of it".

Tiresias chuckled, and could only hope that Castiel would find his joke at least somewhat comical.

"But… I mean if you know other plants… Or if you learn other plants… I mean, gardening really is just the same. The hardest part is harvesting the plants themselves - you cannot let them get hurt, especially the roots, or they will not thrive. And you have to come to know which ones need sun, versus shade. Which ones need more water over which ones prefer to be dry."

Tiresias‘s vocals dimmed as Castiel addressed their sleeping situation. It seemed logical enough, although it was admittedly an awkward conversation to have. Tiresias nodded along with each point that Castiel made, and a quirky smile lit itself upon his lips as Castiel questioned if he knew where the caves were.

"Really, Castiel? Where do you think that I’ve been living all of these months? Ah yes, I grew fins and slept underwater like a fish. Or perhaps I laid out in the open like a beached whale, just waiting for Kijika to pick me off and drag my bloody corpse back to the kingdom… no… Of course I know where the caves are, seeing as that is where I have been staying. Now, shall I show you where they are? We most likely will need to choose a different cave, perhaps even a different cave system. Mine is within one that floods up until the point where my cave is. It protects me while I sleep, but we both would not fit within there. But at least we will know where to start looking. We will not want to sleep in any of them until we see how the tide affects them - to be stuck in one that floods fully… It would mean the death for both of us. Well, at least me. Perhaps you are capable at swimming underwater for a great distances, who knows."

Tiresias chuckled again before turning away from Castiel and pointing his paws back toward the way he came. He had come to know this beach quite intimately, and even getting turned around, he could find his way. He picked up a study, confident trot, and made his way down along the beach. His paw pads split the sand beneath his weight, and his audettes flickered all the while, listening to the sounds around him - the waves crashing to his left. The sand parting for him, beneath them. The gentle 'whoosh' and rush of the reeds to his right, more inland. But he was really looking for, what he was focusing on trying to find, was the sound of Tiresias being followed by Castiel.
