I attended the neighbor association meeting last nite and met a lot of my neighbors. The club president introduced me to the rest of the members by my name and adding "POVERTY ACHErs" and got lots of applause.. It seems most remember seeing my sign..
The chili contest didn't tweak my taste buds, as I couldn't tell much difference (chili is not my favorite food) but the corn bread and salads were a plus (and it was all free)
I bought tickets for the drawing ($190.00) but was only one digit from winning.. (close, but no cigar) (Which is ok, as I don't smoke anymore)
And was invited back..(but I don't know if I will join. All good people, but I don't know if I can fit in.. We'll see...
When I got home, Missy read me the riot act because I was out past 7:00.. She'll get over it...
