Re(5): IBON Wins easy if he takes a couple steps in to throw with reverse Posted on November 11, 2017 at 07:58:07 PM by Jesus
Crab, it can not be kph, that would mean that Ibon's monster throw was travelling at only 116 mph (186 kph), and I can tell ya, I have been clocked at racquetball hitting the backhand at 133 mph, and I KNOW that I can throw a jai alai substantially faster than I can hit a racquetball, and I also know that Ibon can throw the reverse substantially faster than I can throw a backhand :-)
I was there today and they were calling it mph all day. I will post a video in a couple hours.
We can argue that the readings from the gun could have its faults and the actual speed may be lower, but 115 mph? That's only like 12 mph faster than the fastest pitcher, I think if Ibon throws a reverse at a catcher from 60 feet, he'll knock him on hi ass and drag him 15 feet back.
But next time I go, since you planted that seed on my head :-), I'll try to clarify from Benny or some other insider. Replies:
