Fir Chilis is the name given to the dense string of forested land that fills much of Blossom Forest. There are two different populations, depending on where in the land you are. To the north lays the deciduous forest, full of maples, oaks, birches, and beeches. To the south lay a coniferous forest full of pines and firs. No matter where you are, the trees shelter you from the sun and the rain and the snow. Take care not to get lost in the woods however - you may never find your way out. There are other dangerous here too - predators waiting for their own prey. While the land is prosperous they do not pose too much of a threat, but whenever famine or drought hits, they will attack anything... even other Putnar.

Those looking to hunt will find the forests well stocked - there are white-tailed deer, turkeys, red squirrels, chipmunks, mermots, and moose.

As I awake I am met with the most excruciating headache. My vision is alas, still obsolete. Though, it seems as though I can see shadows? Shapes? I bring a paw to my face to attempt to rub the fogginess and pain away. Instead I am met with a sharp spike to the cheek. What the hell was that? Confused, I shake my leg and try again to rub my eye. Again, I am met with a sharp object to my face. It is then that I notice the itching sensation crawling up all four of my limbs. Panic begins to walk itself across my mind. Why does this shit keep happening to me I role my theoretical eyes and let out a deep sigh in an attempt to keep myself collected.

Alright self, think I take a deep breath and tilt my nose to the sky. I allow the feeling of the crisp air to fill my nares and dance between my hairs. I remain in the same position for some moments. When I lower my face again, I notice that I wasn’t imagining the shapes I was seeing. I was no longer drowning in complete darkness; I could see the shapes of the trees. Though, instead of dark shadows, they were almost white. It looked as though the world was completely inverted. So, the shadows I had been seeing were so strange because… they were empty space? Perhaps in my earlier panic and loss of memory I had not noticed the shapes. But what of my legs?

I stand and walk in a small circle. Still groggy from whatever the hell just happened to me I stumble but am able to walk at least. My legs feel funny, stiff almost. And my body feels as though a heavy burden had been set upon my shoulders. I lower my nose to a front limb and sniff deeply. It smells…. Different? But… It IS my leg.. ever so carefully I reach my tongue out. I am met this time with something… scaly? It still tastes like me.. kind of..it has an unnatural taste to it. My tongue again meets something pointy as well and I recoil in shock. At this point, panic again begins to envelope my small cream body. Finally I lose all control and take off running. This time I use my new discovered shapes to avoid total face planting. I needed to get back to my new pack. Someone there would be able to help me. I hope.

Leviathan
From the mouth of the ocean and the eye of the wave
You erupt in my being and leap from my grave;
A lover so gloomy, yet dreadfully bright
You're clothed with darkness but crowned with light.
You come in the spark, you soar with the fire
The mist is your pillow, the tornado your choir;
I will kiss you to sleep on the wild ocean crest
A sleeping volcano, an earthquake at rest.
