His pumpkin colored orbs wandered from the sky to her as she came up to him, taking her set next to his frame and leaning into the warmth of his body.He couldn't help but smile at his Princess. She was so beautiful in the moonlight, in the sunlight, in any light. She was his life now - And as long as he had her in his life he would be more than willing to stay in this world with her. This place was new, exciting. Maybe with the help of her, his life would stay exciting.

Her nose touched his cheek ever so gently, causing him to give a soft chuckle as he turned to lick her nose. "you mean out in the cold, gazing up at the stars?" He chuckled again, and looked back to the stars. "While the stars are beautiful, you outshine them all. They cant compare to your beauty." He grinned, his pumpkin orbs flickering back to her again after she licked his cheek. "I meant with you." He smiled and touched his nose to her forehead.

"tomorrow we can travel to my pack land. siku would love another member. we'll find a den there and raise a happy family," He gave a grin but he was skeptical of if he was cut out for a pack. He'd never even heard of one yet alone been in one previously, he didn't know the ropes. But if this is where Onai lived and desired to live her days, he would follow her to the end of the Earth. He laid down with her, wrapping his body around her frame and curling his plume around her. "what kind of adventures lay before us, my love?" He smiled at her, even he did not know - But that was all part of the fun, was it not?

"because the adventures i see are our pups running around. having fun, not having a care on the world. ours." The thought of little children made him smile - He never thought he would have any. She put her head under his, beginning to fall asleep. He smiled and shut his eyes, beginning to fall asleep himself. "children. a life. love. i've found everything with you jack.. i love you." He smiled softly as he was in and out of sleep,"I love you too, my sweet . . . Sweet Onai." He whispered, his voice slow and trailing off as he began to drift to sleep.

When he awoke, it was already well into the morning. The air was still as chilly as it was during the night but slowly rising in some heat. Jack decided to slip away for a bit, careful not to wake his lover. His paws tracked down a small resting seal, alone on the rocks. It seemed wounded, like a shark had taken a bite from its flank. He used this to his advantage, carefully planning out an attack as he walked the jagged path that was the rocky hills overhanging the oceans water. He stayed low to the ground, his attempt was to push the seal up and inland. He set off like a flash, the rocks hurting his pads just a bit. The seal of course struggled, alert to him as he neared and began to try and slide inland - as he expected. His claws dug into the seal as he grabbed a hold of its neck, tearing the jugular and windpipe. The seal bled out, staining Jacks pelt in its crimson liquid.

This was a strange feeling to him, his heart beat fast in his chest and he felt . . . Strong. He rationalized it as adrenaline and pure instincts fueling him at that point - But either way he and Onai should eat before they set out. He dragged the warm and fresh carcass back to his beloved, gently nudging her before giving her a kiss on her forehead. "Good morning, my love." He smiled at her before sitting back next to the meal he brought. The seal was not that big, but it seemed large enough to at least fill their bellies and maybe feed the birds. "I caught us some breakfast before we head out. I don't know if you like . . . Well, I don't know what this is, but it seems appetizing to me in this new form." He gave an awkward smile, his eyes not leaving her.
