She said she wouldn't leave it in the state it was in, but did she not understand that if it got better it would lash out and kill her for the fun of it? It hadn't even registered that it's body was on her, crushing her slightly. With a groan, the massive body lifted from the femme and moved to stand again, shaking it's head and turning to find anything to munch on. Just a few feet away was a dead deep carcass. It looked to be old, so the deer must have passed from age, hopefully. Not that Costin would care, if it killed him it killed him.
Costins fangs dug deep into the deer's carcass after it stumbled over. Ripping the skin off and shoving it's muzzle inside getting to the meet. Nothing smelled rotten, which was a good sign. After eating it's fill, but still feeling like dying, Costin turned back to the ink stained femme. “Why can't you just leave well enough alone. I don't want to keep living, what is so hard to understand about that? I am a monster.” That was the last thing he said before he collapsed again and let out a huff. His body wasn't strong enough after spending days running without stopping, no food, no water.
Gently the beasts eyes met the fae’s. It looked at her and then when the wind blew it's entire body shivered. “If you insist on staying could you lay with me. I'm not making enough body heat to stay warm.” It whimpered out and looked back up at her. Taking in the form of her, not just the form, but of how beautiful the dark contrasting fur on her head made her look.
