Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

_________________________________________________________________________ The male was still surprised that he had been asked if he had been a vampire. He knew that his eye coloring was a unique one, but did it really resemble those of vampires? Maybe they did or maybe it was just the female being worried and scared after what had happened to her. He didn’t blame her if she was scared, he had never met a vampire before and couldn’t imagine what it would be like to meet one. NeMO may have had unique tastes, but he had not been a true vampire. Stories of them had circulated, and all of them were of nightmarish creatures that wanted to kill you, drain your blood, and potentially eat you. His gaze focused on the female that was a very similar snowy white color to his own, unsure of what was best to do in this situation when she was clearly scared. Ghost had never been good at normal interactions, nevermind ones where sensitive topics or emotions were involved. Unsure of what else to do or say, Ghost heard himself speaking of his own family and the tragedy they had undergone. He had tried not to think about what had gone on all of those years ago. It seemed like so long ago, but the memory was vivid in his mind, one that he would never be able to forget. The screams, the blood, the pain. All of it was etched into him, a part of him, no matter how much he tried to forget it or ignore it. Motionless gave him a smile after he spoke, and he assumed that maybe he had said the right thing this time. More often than not he didn’t know what to do and did the wrong thing. But surely she would have reacted differently if he had done the wrong thing? He wasn’t sure, but for now he would just try to continue along their conversation. The brute went out on a limb and padded closer to her, gauging her reaction to make sure he wasn’t overstepping any boundaries. Motionless didn’t seem opposed to his approach closer to her, so he reached his plume out in what he hoped was a comforting gesture, and she gave him another smile as he asked what he could do to help. "I would love the protection, honestly . . . Maybe . . . You could give me a reason to be alive. Even if it's just for today. I'm not one for commitment . . . Not now at least." The female looked down at her paws before their pools met once more. He wasn’t entirely sure what she meant. Wat could he do just for one day to help? And what did commitment have to do with anything? Suddenly it dawned on the male…did she want them to act as lovers? Why else would Motionless mention commitment, he couldn’t think of any other reasons. But what if he was wrong? He didn’t want to do anything bad or to take advantage of her. But, it had been a long time since he had been with another, had been since NeMO and that was a very long time ago. And he had never been with a female before. The brute shuffled from paw to paw before he looked back to her, afraid to make the wrong move here. His…intimate times with NeMO had been quite distracting from the problems of everyday life…maybe that was what he could offer her. Ghost tried not to let the silence linger any longer than necessary, but the words didn’t seem to want to come out. ”I…I am not sure what I can do to help. This is not something I am used to…engaging in. As for commitment, I am not ready for any sorts of commitment myself. Assuming our thoughts have come to the same conclusion.” The brute tried not to be so awkward, but he didn’t know what else to do or say. The brute moved to separate the distance between them even less, assuming that Motionless did not seem opposed to it. If she did he would back off, but if she seemed okay with it, Ghost would bring his form next to hers, letting their white pelts mingle into one. His plume snaked around him and tried to find her own tail, trying to connect them together even more. His nares reaching to her neck, inhaling her sent, gauging her reaction, wanting to make sure that his head was in the same place as hers. Hoping it was. The closer he got to her, the stronger her scent grew, the stronger his need became. It had been a long time since he had felt the tingles of lust…but they were not something he was foreign to. ________________________________________________________________________ |
