The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

You're Just in Time to See the fall

He was surprised at the very least of her. She was looking far better than he had ever seen or remembered her, perhaps testament to how poorly his father had treated her. Good for her then escaping that toxic relationship by any means necessary. Even now he was learning that he rather have no relationship than a poor one with others. Screw Boneskull if he was going to act like a fool, and Kahina was also just MIA so he figured she was just gone and didn’t want anything to do with him either. All his siblings honestly had vanished and left him now. He was alone, which was funny given just how apparently large his family was. Just proved that blood mattered little, he thought it was important at the start, but time and effort into his siblings had proved otherwise.

He wasn’t sure where he would stand with his mother.

He didn’t hate her, but there wasn't’ exactly love in his eyes either. She replied to his statement calmly though, but he thought he could still make something out as she looked at him. Apathy as well? He wasn’t sure. ”Iromar. He replied when she asked. ”I’m training to be Pine’s warrior. Figure I would fit the bill.” He didn’’t want to take over, didn’t want to do anything really more than live there, but he wanted a rank, status so he could do more of what he wanted and have some control over the others that lived there. If he could he wanted to outrank that Bastard Cuirass if possible. But first he had to learn from someone. ”It’s almost pleasant there now. But I think Pine can be just as brutal as Father was.” he says impassively, rolling his shoulders slightly.

”What about you? You move on already?” It’s not condescending, but his mother was a bit… special he would say. She used her sex to her advantage that was for sure. Then again, that was also how she ended up with his father. He was curious what she had been doing, honestly he was a little surprised she wasn’t wanting to be a queen again.
