Persephone was a newcomer to Moladion as well, having arrived just in time for winter it seemed. She had grown bored once again with the pack she had last stayed with; the alpha was a pushover and she was almost certain it would be easier for her to take control of the pack from him than to keep her act of being an innocent little wanderer up. Maybe she was becoming jaded; being so nice on a daily basis was more of a task than she remembered.
The smell of water so close by made her mouth water lightly, her descent and the cold, dry air working up a thirst. She followed her nose through the stony maze, confident in her ability to find her way back out. She assumed, if nothing else, she could just follow her own scent back out again. And so she made her way deeper into the underground in search of the water source, but it wasn't long before she caught the scent of a visitor.
She sighed to herself and kept walking, hoping that the other wouldn't be some righteous sort that tried to claim the entire cavern system for their own. She would not be opposed to keeping such a place for her own either, but it wasn't worth getting into a fight over.
Soon enough she found the source of the water, a small pool at the bottom of a large cavern. It seemed to be a combination of ground water and water from above, seeing as there were holes in the ceiling that allowed a few rays of light to penetrate the gloom. She drank her fill, the water chilled but clean enough, and then reclined under a cluster of light to wait for the visitor to find her.
