The months passed by quickly and he took to staying in the shadows rather than chasing his brother, the feral sister, or even his younger sister. Though he always lingered he never took the time to cross back into Diveen his life becoming more of a hidden one always keeping a watchful eye on those he claimed were worthy of his time. Today, however, he heard a call and he couldn’t resist exploring over, trespassing even. First, he would head to the shore, after all, he did take a long time since visiting the girl last time in the snows of a prior winter he would take the time to make the reunion a little special. Despite his tendencies and that of his family perhaps with his possessiveness came a certain class.
His path leads him along the river and shoreline as he took time to cautiously comb over the area as he found a shell that almost matched the girl's pelt. A true tulip, it was unbroken and even without a crack in it, cradling it carefully in his maw he took it into the bitter colt of the water rinsing carefully to get any sand or debris to wash out from the interior. Soon he made his way across the river where it was narrow and soon he was in the packed that housed the princess herself, He was bold and perhaps that wasn’t always a good thing but he skirted skillfully this time in an attempt not to be seen by any guards as he followed the resounding call, being particularly careful not to raise any alarm of the average pack member he seemed to be doing well. He wasn’t a master of all stealth given his large size but that wouldn’t keep him from trying.
Apophis lingered in the underbrush silently with the shell in his maw as he studied the scene before his white-hot eyes. His tail twitched slightly in frustration but his jaws never tensed. His multicolored body stalked from the undergrowth perhaps looking particularly threatening unless one had taken notice of what was held in his maw. Eyeing the dark older male cautiously he couldn’t mistake the scent along the border and the one before him were one in the same. He stifled a growl tucking his throat for protection his gaze falling questionably to Luxa almost curious as to what this call was all about. Still, he had no intention to be chased out of the pack just as he arrived, still he was cautious to fight all the same this was dangerous but for now, he put the thought aside for the girl he had met not so long ago.
White-hot orbs lingered on the elder male as he cautiously placed the pristine shell at his own paws before standing back to his full current hight. His eyes were untrusting and they lingered on the male and around him as he eyed Luxa and his features softened. Still, he remained unspeaking his guard quickly being rebuilt but his eyes clearly speaking of the fact he desired to speak to her. For now, his attention returned back to the male and his other senses contributed to keeping mind of his surroundings not looking for any kind of danger, one of the simple rules for his kind was and would always be self-preservation.
