Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Kajika's gaze was fiercely intent on Sekhmet. He knew better than to get closer for any reason. He would not put his life any more on the line than it currently was. The brindle and white youth listened. Perhaps he was a bit biased in how he felt about the giant female before him. She had, after all, allowed the events to transpire. But as he listened, there was something he couldn't put his paw on. Kajika was not knowledgeable in all things, but he was at least capable of seeing things others might miss. Wanted another pup? If that were the case, why not just take him rather than let Myrria try to do him harm? He could not begin to comprehend this at his young age, no matter how hard he tried. He could only give an ever so slight nod, acknowledging her personal reasons for what happened.

As she spoke again, it took him a moment to piece everything together. His ears laid back. Kajika could get past torture and harm... Some wolves were clearly like that, but the last made his stomach turn. Eat him? Why would any wolf dare eat another wolf when prey was plentiful? But she did not. She didn't do anything, not hurt him, nor his father or the kind stranger. Looking at her, it was a quite reasonable thing that she could do. It did confuse him to some degree. She did not intervene, but would have clearly intervened on behalf of the one who was hers. In the end, he could only shake his head. "No... You did not," the boy said, his eyes downcast for a moment. He had walked into this expecting something else. He got answers, but not what he expected. Kajika was then looking back at her. He had more questions than anything now, especially in her momentary sigh, but what she said next had him speechless.

Teach? While Kajika was not opposed to a teacher, it only caused more questions to swirl in his mind. It didn't make sense to his young heart. Someone who could have so easily ended him, his father, and Exodus, offering to teach him? Teach him what exactly, he wondered. Kajika considered it for a moment. "Can you promise she won't try anything like before? What can you teach me that my family cannot?" He asked. It was worth a shot. There was still a great deal of uncertainty, but it never hurt to ask. Plus, Kajika might get the answers to some of the questions swirling about in his head right now.
