He didn’t feel well at all, nope. The commotion he made and the way he rolled all the way down the hill just turned his tummy upside down and all sorts of wrong ways. As he sat back up to get help from these other two pups he felt his last meal come bubbling up his throat. Oh no. He tried to swallow it down but it was too late and the vomit propelled through the air and onto the ground between he and the two strangers. Embarrassment overwhelmed him as he scooted back from the stinky pile of puke and ducked his head. But at least his stomach felt a little better.

Icarus was sure that he had scared the other two off by now, the last thing he remembered hearing the girl say was that he didn’t look well and she sure was right. ”I-I’m sorry. I just…” a burp struggled to make its way up and out of his mouth between words, furthering his embarrassment. ”I needed to find somebody to help,” he begins to whimper, fearing that they now would shun him for his behavior and his momma would never get the help that she needed.

His tail is tucked between his legs as he sits far back on his haunches and begins to sob. He’s already made a fool of himself so what more could he possibly do to harm his image? Little did he know that, despite his best efforts, these pups could do no more than he when it came to his mother’s condition.
