The fox colored femme had decided it as high time to explore some more of this land. The first few days of her stay she had stuck to the Grotto, exploring the cave system there in hopes of finding herself a temporary den. It had done well enough for her needs -not in the open, protected, and hard to find- but she had quickly grown tired of the constant damp and dreariness of it. She supposed she should find a pack to stay with for her stay, not really caring where or who led it as long as the environment was agreeable to her.
She weaved through the grasses, for now putting thoughts of the future from her mind. There would be time in the morning to decide what role she would play for Moladion. There was a small chance that she would stop acting all together, the same as every time she happened upon new lands, but it was always the same. She fell into the role as easily as falling into a bed of wildflowers, as long as the role served her well.
The sight of the lake’s surface reflecting so many stars made a genuine smile come to her lips; a rare thing that she reserved for when she was alone. She picked up her pace, trotting forward with an almost pup like wonder and her eyes firmly fixed on the sky as the clouds began to roll in. Her ears pricked at the sounds of distant thunder and her smile only grew. This was exactly what she needed.
She dipped her muzzle for a needed drink when she finally reached the shores of the lake, enjoying the peace and quiet.
