Little Krickets, Big Butterflies

She bats at her own tail as the larger male begins to push himself down gently on her to keep her still. She does not notice at first, not until he is already upon her and says for her to stay still. She turns over slightly but is still pressed upon, but now belly up. She immediately begins batting at his chest with her black paws, giggling, and obviously not minding.

She heard her sister agree, and her giggle turns wild, almost viciously so as she begins to bite the fur on his chest. She then hears her sister say it is not fair in defiance of the male. Kricket pauses, likely with fur in her mouth but not catching any flesh. Her mind processes the situation, if it is fair or not, and perhaps it is not.

”Oh...yeah...YEAH, NOT FAIR!” she yells out, wiggling now and biting at his chest more or whatever comes near her. He rises as she does so, and she quickly turns over on her paws and begins jumping up at his chest again.

”Dandy said not fair!” she says with a yip. She frowns and whines, ears falling back in irritation now. ”Rocks can’t tell us who has the sharpest, only you can!” she says while she pouts. ”Rocks can’t talk, silly,” she says to Uncle. ”Unless they can?” she asks, eyes moving from Uncle to her sister and back to Uncle again. ”You prove it first, Uncle!” she demands, pounding her little right paw upon his own.
