Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

- Zelda -

Whether on not Eden knew or not, Zelda didn’t know for sure. Originally Alistair had come to her with his suspicion that Eden did indeed know something about it thus launched his investigation further into the matter. However, at this point, Zelda knew there was no reason to argue if he knew the truth of the matter or not. She simply wanted to pose her feelings to him, that if he had known that next time it would be appreciated if he would come to them sooner. Glorall, while it was a quiet pack with quite a mysterious alpha, was one of Taviora’s older allies now. Eden held ties with Taviora that no other pack really had anymore, except maybe Diveen.

Zelda liked Eden, she thought, she certainly didn’t dislike him for any reason, but she knew he might have withheld the information to protect his pack and family. She didn’t blame him, but as he launched into his rebuttal she listened carefully. As he started Zelda gave a nod at his words. The other event surely meant the children she was forced to have. Zelda felt horrible for her, it was something Alistair had confided into her when telling her such information, she wasn’t sure if she should say she knew or not. To Zelda’s knowledge though it happened a year or more after the event of her uncle being poisoned. Alistair had started his investigation thoroughly at that point though, so perhaps if it was brought up then this was what Eden was referring too.

”I don’t wish for you too, what is done is done. My uncle has put what happened to him past him now. I just hope such an accident happen ever again.” She said with a little sigh, feeling the tension release knowing that matter was behind them. Eden apparently shared the sentiment, releasing one just before her own. It appeared despite the good nature behind her even Eden was a little tense. She understood that. Here she was proclaiming the guilt of his daughter, and seemingly informing him that it had happened. He continues though and Zelda shakes her head to the titular head of the pack.

”It is a difficult situation all around. I can’t say I would have been capable of seeking my family either if I knew such a thing had been reversed.” She said what she wanted too, she was still unsure on if he truly knew or not, it really didn’t matter anymore though. Zelda wanted to tell him that he could trust her, and Taviora and she hoped that he would come to her if there was a next time. ”Mother, speaks highly of you Eden I am sure they understand.” She says smiling warmly at the grey alpha, her tail giving a few waves. She supposed that was all she had to say regarding this though, she didn’t want to continue to be a bother to him and she and Alex could move on to their next destination. Iromar. That one she was sure was going to end with a little salt in some wounds.

”Well unless you have something else you wish to speak to me with since I am here, I suppose I should let you get back to your business.” She stated lightly though she was curious if Eden needed anything with her too. The thought of Asteraia was on her mind, but she wasn’t sure if Eden had any part to play or if it was the rather hot headed Aster that might have… done things. Zelda met Aster not long ago after all and it was clear she and Pine were kindred in the way that they were inexperienced and filled with emotions and fire. Zelda wouldn’t doubt for a minute if Aster got worked up by Eden’s own passiveness.
