If you ask for advice no need to write in capital letters .. it's not polite !
To answer your question, most agencies maximise their commission by pressing down on the doctor to agree a low rate and make him/her more appointable by the hospital. I think a rate of £90/hr would be OK for an SpR/Staff grade but too low for consultant level. A couple of friends (locum consultants - one not ophthalmologists though) get in their pocket £110-£120/hr. They've mentioned rates have gone up recently because of a change in the tax rules or something. Don't shoot the messenger !! Replies:
