She mimicked his smirk with her own, but she knew it only as a gentle gesture for now. It did not last though as she began her attack upon his paws. She was pleased with it being an immediate success. Her parents tended to be quick if they wanted to get away. It was satisfying knowing that she could succeed, and this brought a smile to her lips as she tried to pounce again as he lowered himself closer to her level.
She sees his teeth, a challenge, and she mimics the way he bares his teeth. She was not entirely sure what it meant, if anything. Her parents would do something similar, but not quite, when she was too rough. Every movement and signal always seemed to have subtle difference that she was starting to catch onto.
Luckily, he was in her vision, and she saw the movement, although stiff, of his paw coming towards her shoulder. She rolled opposite of the paw attempting to avoid it, and he jumps back a bit. She ends her roll on her back, and clumsily tries to right herself back on her stomach and then onto her paws. This is the first time she makes a noise. It is a quite, more huff like noise and vibration. Perhaps almost like a growl but not quite.
Once she is righted again she keeps herself lowered to the ground, eyes wide on him with her tail wagging behind her high in the air. This was her first meeting with someone other than her family, and so far it had been an enjoyable experience. Her eyes hold themselves on his for a good moment before they dance around his form, taking in how much larger he is...but also looking for a good target.
She grins mischievously, much like a grin Aster would make. She then moves on her dark paws like a little dart straight towards his chest- where she will attempt to bite at his chest fur and pull him all the way down on the ground! At least, in her mind she that would potentially happen. It happened with her siblings sometimes...sometimes, so why not him?
