Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Matianak watched Blackthorne with a curiosity. He was definitely playing at something, and he would certainly slip up sooner or later. They were young, it was quite a possibility for both of them to betray something that they intended to keep secret. It was no secret his hatred for their shared sire, but the new development of wishing him dead, that made for an interesting take. Finally, the girl merely shrugged. Yes, agree to disagree. As long as they did not hinder each other.

"I do not pretend, sweet brother. With that one, I know," she said. Her gaze was rather telling at this point. If he had not caught it in her tone, he would see it now. Of all the deaths in the world that would happen, that one would be at her paws alone. She had seen it. The only other option was her death at Umbra's paws. That outcome was not her ideal. Indeed, Matianak had every intention of ensuring the future held only the one result.

Eventually, she rolled her shoulders, maintaining her relatively calm demeanor even though he had dared show any semblance of warning to her. She had no intention to draw his ire at this particular time, nor did she desire it, as it would only postpone what she wanted. Or would it? "Perhaps I might need to set my sights on your for a time, dearest brother. That would certainly gain our dear father's favor, and our sweetest sister," her voice seemed almost dripping with a coating of sarcasm with a hint of condescension, "might draw an even closer bond between two siblings before the soil runs red." Oh, now that was a thought! A smile creased her maw, "But I am quite certain you would rather Umbra and I were not thick as thieves, as you say. Even thieves betray each other when it so suits them. Is that what you want, my beloved brother?"
