Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

With contact, Arturio clamped down harder around the joint and jerked his head, pulling as hard as he could while stepping to his left. There was some resistance. The male attributed that to the extra weight with Azariah having her hold on Thorne. He did not, however, account for the sudden return motion. He could hear the rending of flesh as the boy pulled from Azzy and towards him again.

His ears were pinned back against his skull at this point. Nor was he letting go. Not yet. Arturio managed to catch a glimpse of what Azariah was attempting. If she was successful, his position could be problematic. Instead, Arturio gave one last tug and let go. It should be enough to impede Thorne's balance and bring him to the ground under his friend's weight. The white male did not, however, let go in time to go unscathed. Not his ear, but a nice set of cuts down the right side of his face from gnashing fangs and his quick backing up. He felt the sting and blood oozy down his face. And... there was definitely a deeper tear on his muzzle that he felt near his fangs. That would certainly need attention.

So he would not walk away unscathed. So be it. For the moment, he was not attacking again. If his jerking motion on Thorne's leg and Azariah's weight were not enough to bring the boy to the ground, Arturio would take a different approach.
