Barrie Xmas Bird Count

Tomorrow, Friday December 8th is the last day to register to participate in the 46th Annual Barrie Christmas Bird Count, to be held on Saturday, December 16th, 2017! Please email me at chrisgevans55@gmail.com with subject "Barrie CBC" for further details or to register as a field observer, feeder watcher or to simply give us access to your great bird feeder. Participants and non-participants alike are welcome to our potluck supper and tally following the count at Northwest Barrie United Church Hall.

Will the Peregrine Falcon at Centennial Beach still be there?

Will you see a Snowy Owl or a Barred Owl?
Who, who, who, whoooo knows? No matter what your birding experience level is, you will most certainly have fun looking for and learning about birds and the Barrie area with people who love birds and Barrie.

The Christmas bird count is the oldest and largest citizen science project in the world, and you can participate in it and contribute to it! No experience is required. All are welcome.

Again, for more details or to register, please email me at chrisgevans55@gmail.com with subject "Barrie CBC".

Season's Greetings and Happy New Birding Year!

Chris Evans, Barrie CBC Compiler/Coordinator
