♡I was made for loving you♡

even though we may be hopeless hearts
just passing through

Bright blue eyes grow bright still as the stallion dressed in red laughs along with her. Vibrant smile stretching across pink lips, joyful with the chance to make another smile, make another laugh, to make another happy. It was really all she wished for in the world. Her laughter tumbles from her lips rimmed in baby soft pink, slipping through them like sand slips through ones fingers as they cups their palms loosely together. Blue eyes look upon him, following the stray strands of red forelock. She finds his red hair endearing and beautiful, it was like fire, while her own was like that of fallen snow that had only just made its way to the earth, untouched by any of what life had to offer.

She cannot hear his heart beating, so the girl named for the moon has no questions lingering on her thoughts of why it would quicken. She knows his name and for Jaci, that is enough, for now at least. Stories were told in pieces, with cliffhangers, twists, and turns. They are told one chapter at a time, leaving a moment to breathe in between the end of one and the beginning of another.

Jaci’s knowledge of Orkaan’s life remains a heavy mystery to her. She knew little pieces of his childhood from what he had told her, but she knew even less about what his current life had been like. The snow bird didn't know anything of his enemies or his alliances, or what his relationship with Shamwari had been. She doesn't know any of these things. Therefore she is unaware of the sour expression he attempts to hold back, and she simply sends another beaming smile in his direction.

He apologizes and Jaci extends her muzzle towards him, gently brushing his shoulder, just as one might give an affectionate pat to another. “It’s really ok,” she says, long, feminine lashes blinking over those eyes made from pieces of a blue summer sky. “I didn't know him that well, but he gave me a home when I had none,” she speaks thoughtfully. Despite however brief her relationship with the two toned king of the inlet was, the girl named for the moon would be forever grateful for the shelter and protection he had provided her, even if just for a short time.

And then he says those words. Tiny, cupped ears flicker forward atop her poll to catch his invitation. Mouth first falls open, shocked at his offer, before pushing upwards into that radiant smile that was the very essence of Jaci’s soul. Silence holds her for a moment as she is stunned by the offer to come and live in his home, but before she can speak, Shamwari fills in the quiet with a brief explanation of his home. Of course, Jaci needed no explanation, his generosity was all that was required for her to follow him.

H suggests it to be a new adventure as he steps forward and touches her shoulder. Just as when Orkaan had touched her, however fleetingly, she grows shy for a moment, closing those baby blues for a second or two. Suddenly, lashes flutter open as pink lips part. “I do love an adventure.”
