The sounds of crashing water fill your auds as you enter this tropical paradise. The tall trunks tower above you. The treetop canopy's seem to shade the beautiful land from the sun's rays. What a paradise this place seems. This place dubbed Malignant Felicity. As you draw closer to the boarders a stench slowly devours the air around you. The stench of death.

"Beware..." scream the birds from above you. "She kills for games. She kills for fun." Something deep inside tells you to listen. Your body tells you not to go no further. Do you listen or do you dare move into the pack borders. This could be a life or death decision...

Follow the Queen, or become a corpse that lines her border. The choice lies with you.

a vexatious kiss

What she was doing for the heiress was more than she could ever ask for. And it could get both of them in so much more trouble then they’d ever thought possible if they got caught. It was unclear who would suffer more, for if Draven knew of their little secret, then he would most definitely try to take the heiress’ life no questions asked, whether or not her mother cared or not. And Briseis might survive but tortured and beat more than she’d ever been before. So who had it worse? Diosa knew that Briseis was already under pressure by Draven and there was no way he wouldn’t realize that something was going on. Diosa did not fear her identity being revealed because she knew she could trust Bri, but she felt a deep residual guilt that she would the reason for Bri’s pain. Not just from her bite and feeding, but from the beating she would get from Draven when he realized what had gone on behind his back and in his absence. Diosa had no idea when she would see Briseis again, because if Draven knew then Bri would never see the light of day again. Not for many many moons and Draven assumed that whoever had been feeding from her had either died or learned their lesson. Diosa was not stupid and knew that if that happen it would be best that she just go out and find some unsuspecting stranger… even if it meant potentially killing someone else.

Briseis could not suffer more because of her; Diosa wouldn’t let it happen.

Diosa’s mind was occupied primarily about her worries for Briseis, but then there was also her mother. Lucyne as she now called herself. Diosa had gone to her mother at one point a few days ago, because it had been unusually quiet as of late and that worried the young heiress. It was normal not to scent her mother, but usually the crows overhead were cawing as she moved, but there had not been a single screech from above. This had sent s disconcerting chill down her spine, because her mother was never still. Always alive and moving about, stalking the borders for new members or a meal, sometimes both. Instead though, Diosa had found her mother laying in their den her face streaked with tears and her crimson pools roiled with anger. And before she had uttered a word to Lucyne, a flood of words came out. And between huffs of breath, screams, and muffled words Diosa found out that her brother had starved himself to death and the others, well she hadn’t really caught that part, but she knew they were gone. And would never be coming back. The only ones left were her, Leviathan, and Rohan. Diosa was struck with silence, unable to utter a word of remorse, apology, or anger. She had not known how to react. The only sibling she had truly cared about was Holly and she was dead somewhere in these bogs. Her body probably tattered and shredded because of the alligators and swamp creatures.

Diosa did not stay to comfort Lucyne, being to confused and lost at that moment to offer any comfort. Lucyne was merely the woman who had saved her, never much of a mother to her children except a few like Rohan, but even then she had only been grooming him for the throne. Though her mind was shattered she told Diosa that when she came of age, it would be her time to take the throne. She was the first in line to Caidir Olc now. She was not to breath a word of it though. Silenced echoed after Diosa’s steps. She wandered thoroughly lost through those boggish lands she had grown to know so well, and yet now? It felt all too unfamiliar. The crows cawed above her head as she moved back to her own den, silence fell over the land as she tucked herself away to deal with the painful knowledge she had just been granted. A eerie howling moan echoed out from her den that night as she wailed in misery at the death of her siblings.

Pepper black lids snapped open at the sound of Lucyne’s howl beckoning across the lands, it would take the young heiress at least an hour to get to the meeting spot. As her limber, onyx canvass exited her mossy den the crows cawed down to her. She nodded to them sending them away to the meeting place and leaving her in the silence of her thoughts. Only the sound of her paws beating into the ground and her breath could be heard as she broke out into a full gallop to the meeting. The exertion giving her a break from the uncontrollable thoughts that wandered through her brain. And it was not long before she found herself at the edge of the gathering area and she slowed herself to a walk. She turned and licked down her ruffled coat before padding into the area. Briseis’ scent had crossed her nares already and she assumed the Draven was there as well. Only now Diosa could go to her and offer comfort without being too obvious and she could not show the shock of her state when she padded into the clearing. Bri was beaten, bruised, and looked to be half dead. Diosa wanted desperately to help her, but not here. Not with Draven’s prying eyes scouring those who came in search of the one who had taken a part of his Mesmer.

The young heiress merely dipped her head Bri, and she looked up to Draven and Lucyne. Hello Lucyne. Draven. She greeted them with a cool temperament before she leapt up and sat at Lucyne’s side. She did not want to be this close to either Lucyne or Draven, but Bri was up here and Diosa wanted to be as close as she could to offer some confort. Bri had a friend in her, and Diosa would do anything to get her out from under Draven’s paw. She just needed to figure out how.
