Sans' body went ridged the moment the girl shoved her form under his body. His speckled eyes stared forward blankly as he waited with growing impatience for the pup to come out from hiding. The plump puppy had never been too fond of others outside his family invading his personal space, but after what the girl had been through, he could allow her this one moment of comfort. But his three younger siblings could still be out there, possibly hurt, and they were wasting time. A shudder vibrated through his chest from her before he felt her calm. His voice and pretend relaxed mood seemed to do its work and soon she had pulled herself out.

His ears twitched when Thistle mentioned she had been alone on the mountain and his gaze quickly turned towards the peak. Already the snow had settled, the powdery white returning to the top within moments of the avalanche. While he was eased to hear she had been alone up there, he still felt a growing anxiety within his chest. He couldn't allow himself to rest until he was absolutely sure Vayrus, Ashur, and Dagon were all safe and sound.

"Thanks for your help. Look, you should probably head back to your den. I'm going to keep looking around to see if I can find my brothers and sister," he said before stepped around the girl and moving closer to the dangerous loose snow. While he thought it would be wise to use the girl (three eyes are better than one), he couldn't risk her life. He didn't look behind him to see if she had done as he bade. His mind was too concerned with finding his family and bringing them home safe and sound.
